When I saw these beautiful graphics of caterpillars, I wanted to make patterns. I have some ideas and the first one is this:

Make an AABC pattern with guide.

This book needs little prep!

You just need to copy, cut the sheets, and staple them. The students will color the patterns at the body of the caterpillar, with or without guide. Also, they can create their own patterns. You can use colors, crayons, or dot markers.

These 2 mini books have AB, AAB, ABB, ABC, AABB, AABC, AAAB, ABBC, ABCC, and ABCD cute caterpillar patterns.
